New Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), BJP led NDA's constituent, today released its first list of candidates for the Bihar legislative polls, which is set to begin on October 12. Addressing mediapersons here, Loksabha MP Chirag Paswan said the party's parliamentary board meeting was held yesterday under the chairmanship of party chief Ram Vilas Paswan which finalised name of 12 candidates. While names of six candidates were announced for the first phase, one each was declared for the third and fourth phases. Names of four candidates were declared for the fifth and last phase of the state polls. Among others, the list also features the names of LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan’s brother and nephew. One of the candidates, Md Yousuf Khan, is the son of LJP MP Mehboob Ali Kaiser. The announced candidates are Anil Chaudhary (Cheria-Beriarpur), Pashupati Kumar Paras (Alauli (SC), Subhash Chandra Bose (Sikandara (SC), Prince Raj (Kalyanpur (SC) Engg Himanshu Kumar (Jamalpur) Amar Kushwaha (Nathnagar) Satendra Singh (Fatuha) Ravi Tiwari (Govindganj) Vijay Paswan (Triveniganj (SC), Sarita Paswan (Sonbarsha (SC), Md Yusuf Khan (Simri Bakhtiarpur). LJP, which is fighting 40 out of 243 seats, had earlier voiced concerns over seats distribution in NDA and said their workers were dissatisfied due to it. UNI RG SV 1350
