Lingaraj College organises national level workshop on Environmental Pollution

Belagavi, Jan 24 (UNI) KLE Society’s department of Geography, Lingaraj College, Belgavi organised a one-day national level Workshop on ''Environmental pollution and its effect on climate change'' here on Friday.
The chief guest,Chairman NGT, SLC,KSPCB, Bengaluru Subhash Adi emphasised on the significant role played by nature in Man’s Life.
''Nature voluntarily produces everything and Man naturally has forgotten his complete dependency on nature. Day by day he has encroached every inch of nature.
''Today the biggest hurdle to protect nature is ‘corrupt mind’ and ‘plastic’. It’s the duty of every youth today to question and protest everything that pollutes the nature. Getting into ‘action’ by keeping away our ‘ego’ is the only solution for healthier atmosphere'', he said.
College principal R M Patil presided over the function.
Many students presented papers on the theme.
