Azamgarh, Jul 6 (UNI) Two people, including a minor, were killed and three others sustained burn injuries when lightning struck during rainfall in the Kaptanganj area of this district in Uttar Pradesh, police spokesperson said on Saturday.
Several children were playing under a tin shade in the Parsammanpur village on Friday evening when it started to rain. Suddenly, lightning struck resulting in on the spot death of Kajal (16) and Karan Nishad (10).
Three others, including two minors, sustained burn injuries in this mishap who have been sent to a hospital.
