Light rainfall expected in Marathwada on Oct 8 as Monsoon withdraws

Ch. Sambhajinagar, Oct 6 (UNI) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall at isolated places across the eight districts of the Marathwada region on October 8, 2025, as weather conditions begin to stabilise ahead of the expected withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from Maharashtra.
According to the latest bulletin from the Regional Meteorological Centre, Mumbai, light to moderate rainfall is very likely at isolated places in parts of Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada on that day.
The eight Marathwada districts — Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Beed, Latur, Parbhani, Nanded, Hingoli, and Dharashiv — are expected to receive scattered showers with thunderstorms, though the intensity will remain light to moderate.
