Light rain in next 24 hours in northwest region

Chandigarh, June 4 (UNI) Light rain is expected in some places in the northwest region in the next twenty four hours and there have been warnings of thunderstorm and rain at some places.
According to the Meteorological Center, due to the active western disturbances in the northwest including Himachal Pradesh, the rain or drizzle continued for the last four days and today, there was a sudden blackening and showers with wind and there are chances of rain in the next twenty four hours. Somewhere there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorm.
Chandigarh and its surroundings were cloudy since morning and it rained in the evening, which made the weather colder. The minimum temperature was 23 degrees today. The mercury of Ambala, Narnaul, Patiala, Halwara and Bathinda were 23 degrees, Hisar 23 degrees, Karnal 24 degrees, Rohtak 27 degrees Bhiwani 24 degrees respectively.
