Life returns to normal at Sopore in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 7 (UNI) Life returned to normal in apple township of Sopore, in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, where a general strike was observed yesterday on the 23rd death anniversary of more than 50 people, who were allegedly killed by Border Security Force (BSF).
Shops and business establishments reopened and traffic was plying on all routes normally. Work in government offices and banks also resumed. Students could be seen going to tuition and coaching centers this morning.
However, security forces and state police personnel remained deployed at sensitive places to prevent any law and order problem.
