Life comes to grinding halt due to strike in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 21 (UNI) Life came to a grinding halt on Thursday in Kashmir valley, due to a strike called by the separatists against civilian killings and assassination of senior Journalist and Rising Kashmir Editor-In-Chief Shujaat Bukhari.
Meanwhile, the historic Jamia Masjid in the downtown Srinagar was closed to prevent any protests, though there were no restrictions in any part of the city. But, additional security forces were seen patrolling the streets in Srinagar.
