Less is more at LMIFW AW’19

Less is more at LMIFW AW’19

New Delhi, Mar 4 (UNI) The Fashion Design Council of India is presenting Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week AW ’19 (LMIFW) here from March 13 to 17.

The last day of the event is dedicated to Pearl Portfolio, where the students of Pearl Academy will showcase their talent.

The FDCI Designer Stockroom will be held on March 17 and 18, where India’s top designers will directly retail their creations to consumers at competitive prices.

While the runway shows are by invitation only, the FDCI Designer Stockroom sale is open to all.

In an era of fast fashion, when garments are tossed away faster than you can say climate change, Liva, FDCI’s new Associate Sponsor from the Aditya Birla Group, wants to encourage Conscious Consumption.

With this in mind, it is kick-starting the 33rd edition of India Fashion Week with the LivaEco Green Heart Show, which hopes to change the way in which people consume fashion.

Much like its start, LMIFW AW ’19 will end with a difference too, with a spectacular Lotus Make-up Grand Finale involving India’s most innovative designers.

“We have an exciting line-up of shows planned, with a good balance of old and new talent. We are excited about working once again with Lotus Make-up and, in line with our desire to open up new dimensions for the fashion space, we are happy to have Liva on board,” says FDCI President Sunil Sethi.
