Leopard that had entered Gujarat capital and secretariat premises finally caged

Gandhinagar, Nov 5 (UNI) A leopard, which managed to enter the Secretariat premises in this Gujarat capital in the wee hours of Monday morning, was finally caged, after hours-long operation by the Police and Forest departments.
The wild cat was nabbed from the area behind the Rajbhavan nursery. It was tranquilised and caged. After primary treatment, it would be left in a forest.
It had entered this capital city, which has a vast tree cover and forest-like areas close to it. Police jawan Jaswant Vaghela saw the feline entering the Secretariat between 0130 hrs to 0200 hrs and informed the authorities.
