Legal Metrology Assistant controller held in grafting case in Telangana

Kakinada, Jun 24 (UNI) The Anti corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested Assistant controller of Legal Metology N Eswerarao at his office in Rajahmundry while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 for issuing verification certificate to a newly installed weigh bridge, the ACB sources said.
A trap was laid to arrest him red handed, on the complaint of N Uma Sai, owner of the weigh bridge, the sources further said.
Mr Eswerarao would be produced before the designated court on Monday, the sources added.
