Left Govt moves ahead with projects having no central clearances: Chennithala

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 24 (UNI) Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala on Tuesday alleged that CPI(M)-led Left Government is going ahead with several major projects having no environmental and central clearances.
Alleging that the semi-high speed railway project was introduced for sabotaging the bullet train project, he said the Thiruvananthapuram-Kozhikode Light Metroproject was also cancelled by the Left Government. Both the cancelled projectes were introduced by the previous Congress-led UDF Government, he added.
A project related to Wayanad tunnel road was started without getting the approval of the Union Ministry of Environment aiming to get consultancy commission by the ruling party, he alleged.
