Bengaluru, May 24 (UNI) Not withstanding the severe drubbing received in the just concluded Lok Sabha elections by coalition partners Congress and the Janata Dal (S), the coalition government in Karnataka will remain solid, Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara said here on Friday.
Addressing newsmen, after an informal Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister here on Friday, the DCM said, “The council of ministers, which met today had reposed faith and confidence on the leadership of Kumaraswamy”.
Maintaining that the people of Karnataka had given their mandate to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha election, he maintained that it had nothing to do with the Karnataka government. “All the MLAs, of both the coalition parties have rallied behind the coalition government and there is no any threat to its stability or dissidence creeping in”.
