LDF to boycott official functions related to Chandy.

Kannur, Feb 5 (UNI): The District Committee of Left Democratic Front (LDF) has decided today to boycott the official programmes of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Electricity minister Aryadan Muhammed and Excise Minister K Babu in this district of Kerala, as part of their state-level agitation, demanding removal of the Chief Minister and other tainted ministers.
The LDF will organise anti-corruption people meet at Panchayat, Municipality and Corporation levels on February 12 and also decided to conduct development seminars in all assembly constituencies in the district.
The committee also decided to support the joint farmers organisation, 36 hrs sathyagraha at Alakkode on February 16 and Cherupuzha, Payavoor, Iritty and Kelakam on February 17, stressing the problems confronting Rubber farmers.
