LDF rule provides political patronage to smugglers, corrupt persons : Chennithala alleges

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 5 (UNI) Opposition leader in the Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala on Wednesday alleged that the CPI(M)-led LDF rule provides political patronage to the smugglers and corrupt persons in the state and the best police force in the country has been turned into puppets by Pinarayi Vijayan government.
"Instead of offering hope to the public, today the police offer hope only to the smugglers and the corrupt persons," the Opposition leader alleged while speaking at the 'Save Kerala Speak Up' protests organised by Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) here.
The protests were inaugurated by Congress Working committee member A K Antony through live video conferencing.
