LDF Govt in Kerala aims to provide 5 lakh new houses to landless families in next five years

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 19 (UNI) The CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) Government in Kerala is aiming to provide five lakh new houses to landless families in the next five years in the state.
"The first term of the Pinarayi Vijayan Government had given quality housing to 2.67 families and the second term of his Government aims 5 lakh new houses for them with in five years," sources said on Sunday.
As part of the 100-Days programme of the second Pinarayi Government, 12,067 houses have been handed over to beneficiaries under LIFE Mission on Saturday.
