Law and order have completely collapsed in Punjab, claims Raja Warring

Chandigarh, April 15 (UNI) Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Wednesday raised serious alarms over the deteriorating security situation in the state, asserting that Punjab is witnessing a total collapse of law and order.
According to the PCC chief, violent crimes such as targeted killings, extortion, and ransom demands have unfortunately become the "new normal" under the current administration. He stated that the general public has been left vulnerable as criminal elements operate with a brazen lack of fear for the legal system.
Warring’s remarks came in the wake of the cold-blooded murder of a youth in Moga on Wednesday. He argued that the audacity of the perpetrators to strike at will stems from the state government’s failure to prioritise public safety.
