New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) Indian playback singer and music director Lata Mangeshkar on Monday extended wishes to BJP president Amit Shah on his 54th birthday.

'Amit Shah ji pranam. Wish you a very happy birthday. I pray to God for your long life. I felt happy to meet you all that day,' the 'Nightingale of India' said in a tweet.

Replying to Ms Mangeshkar's wishes, Mr Shah said,'Pranam Lata didi, I am thankful for your wishes from the core of my heart. It's a good luck for me to get your blessings.'
