Lata Mangeshkar, Javed Akhtar condole death of Khayyam

New Delhi, Aug 19 (UNI) Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar and writer lyricist Javed Akhtar on Monday condoled the death of legendary music composer Khayyam.
In her condolence to the legendary music composer, Lata said,''Khayyam treated me like his younger sister . He used to compose songs of his special choices for me. Working with him was most enjoyable because he was a perfectionist. So many things are coming to my mind today.''
'There will never again be a music director like him. I pay tribute to his singing,''she said.
Writer and lyricist Javed Akhtar also condoled khayyam's death.
''Khayyam saheb the great music director has passed away . He has given many all time great song but to make him immortal only one was enough “ voh subah kabhi to aayehi'',''Javed said.

New Delhi, Feb 27 (UNI) After the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) expressed “grave concern” over violence in Delhi, India on Thursday hit back and said that the comments made are factually inaccurate, misleading and appear to be aimed at politicising the issue.
