Lalu throws volley of questions for encroachment of water bodies

Patna, Jan 18 (UNI) Throwing volley of questions indirectly upon Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the incarcerated supremo of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Lalu Prasad today said that everyone knows under whose regime the water bodies were encroached upon in the state.
Through a tweet in the social media, Mr Prasad without taking the name of Mr Kumar termed the Jal-Jivan-Hariyali mission as a gimmick and said that the pioneers of the mission should disclose under whose patronage the water bodies were encroached upon during the past 15 years. He also asked to disclose the names of the culprits behind siphoning off the fund meant for embankments, plantation.
Meanwhile, wife of RJD Chief and leader of RJD legislator party in Bihar legislature Rabri Devi termed the proposed formation of Human Chain on January 19 as meaningless saying that her party had supported such move of Mr Kumar in favour of prohibition but the liquor could not be banned in the state. She said that crores of rupees were being embezzled in the name of formation of the human chain.
