Lallaguda workshop to be considered as premier Coach Maintenance facility on IR : SCR GM

Hyderabad, Jan 23 (UNI) South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Gajanan Mallya on Thursday emphasized that the Lallaguda workshop will be considered as one of the premier Coach Maintenance facility on Indian Railways and credited the workforce for the same.
Addressing representatives of Unions, Associations and Employees after the annual inspection of Carriage Workshop, Mr Mallya appreciated the quality of work being maintained and expressed his satisfaction in adapting new technology to upgrade the working skills.
He also applauded the staff and officers for keeping green environment in the workshop duly maintaining it as scrap free unit.
The officials at the workshop elaborated about Pre-Inspection shop which is under construction.
During the course of Inspection, the General Manager inaugurated several modern and advanced work stations/equipment/machinery such as LHB Work station/Manipulator, Dynamic wheel balancing machine, Industry 4.0, Shock absorber testing machine, Airbrake Sub-Stores, New Trimming shop, Optical Emission Spectrometer and Universal Testing Machine.
Chief Work Shop Manager B.Murali Krishna gave a power-point presentation to the General Manager narrating the achievements of the workshop.
He also briefed Mr Mallya on the modernization plan of the workshop.

Minister releases Asst Public Prosecutor examination results
