Lakshadweep Cong blames MP Faisal for poor state of Island

Kavaratti/New Delhi, Oct 31 (UNI) Lakshadweep Territorial Congress Committee (LTCC), the wing of the Congress party’s Lakshadweep unit on Wednesday alleged that the current Lok Sabha MP PP Faisal failed to implement the promises made in election manifesto.
Lakshadweep, a geographically isolated island from the mainland, has a lone seat in Lok Sabha, represented by Nationalist Congress Party’s (NCP) Faisal, who defeated former Union Minister PM Sayeed’s son and then Lok Sabha MP Hamdulla Sayeed in 2014.
The meeting was organised by the LTCC of which Mr Sayeed is the president, and attended by the leaders from all ten islands of Lakshadweep.
