Lagna for Nuakhai fixed by Pandit Mahasabha

Sambalpur, Aug 19 (UNI) The Brahmamandap Pandit Mahasabha of Sambalpur fixed September 1 as the Lagna for the ‘Nabanna’ (Nuakhai-offering of new crop) to Maa Samaleswari .
The Nabanna will be offered to the mother in between 10.56 AM to 11.10 AM considered to be the most auspicious time for offering of the Prasad made out of the new crop to the mother.
After the Nabanna is offered in the temple the residents will perform the same rituals in their respective homes,” said Pandit Amarnath Mishra of the Pandit Mahasabha.
