New Delhi, Oct 26 (UNI) On the landslide victory of Bhatiya Janata Party’s in Leh Autonomous Hill Development Council election, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday said it reflected the people of Ladakh’s unwavering trust in the Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Taking to Twitter, he said “BJP’s landslide victory in Leh Autonomous Hill Development Council elections clearly reflects Ladakh’s unwavering trust in BJP and PM @narendramodi ’s leadership.I thank people of Ladakh for choosing development and prosperity, Mr Shah said further in his tweet message and also congratulated the party workers for this victory."
The BJP registered major victory in the sixth Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh general council elections. As per the counting which concluded on Monday evening, the BJP won 15 of the 26 constituencies.
