Lack of furniture turned schooling a tough task in Tripura district

Ambassa (Tripura), Nov 10 (UNI) Lack of adequate furniture has turned schooling a tough task at renowned Chandraipara Class XII School in the district headquarters of Ambassa in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here recently.
The School set up way back in 1950s has been suffering for the lack of benches for the students, potable water and modern buildings. The Headmaster in-charge of the school identified as Tushar Das has informed, "The main problem for our school is that there is no proper seating arrangements for the students as adequate number of benches are not available. As a result, many students of classes XI and XII have to attend classes by standing for hours together."
Moreover, in 2016-17 financial year, the construction of new school building has started at a new place which the contractor has left the site unfinished. The potable water has been being supplied from the old tank which needs early maintenance according to the guardians.
