Lack of confidence and leadership in Congress led to distribution of tickets over phone: Kashyap

Shimla, Oct 7 (UNI) HP BJP state president Suresh Kashyap said on Friday that due to infighting and lack of leadership among the state Congress leaders, today their leaders are allotting tickets over the phone. Congress is not confident enough to announce their party ticket in front of the public, as their candidates are not sure of winning and are insecure. Suresh Kashyap termed the statement of Congress MLA Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu ridiculous in which he said that 40 tickets have been finalized and candidates have been informed over the phone.
In a statement today, the BJP state president said that the Congress has neither any leader nor leadership from the center to the state. it's a disintegrated house in hands of a few families. The tickets are being finalized over the phone only because of factionalism between Holy Lodge and Sukhu, Mukesh, Kaul Singh, and Ramlal Thakur in Congress is known to all. The condition is that Congress, which is giving guarantees to the state, is not able to guarantee tickets to its leaders.
Suresh Kashyap said that Congress is not able to tell in front of the people who have been given tickets and to whom. This shows that Congress does not have the confidence of the leaders and party cadre, no such faces are available who can be trusted to face the electorate with confidence. BJP state president Suresh Kashyap said that whoever comes into the electoral fray from Congress, the victory will be of BJP candidates only as the leadership is geared along with the cadre to take the policies of the double engine govt to the masses. He said that today due to the fear of the people, Congress has come to finalize the tickets on the phone itself.
