L&T wins mega contracts in hydrocarbon business

Mumbai, Jan 12 (UNI) Engineering major Larsen & Toubro on Wednesday said that it has bagged mega contracts in its hydrocarbon business in the international market.
"A consortium led by L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has secured two offshore packages from an overseas client," the company said in a statement issued here.
L&T classifies contracts worth over Rs 7000 crore as mega order.
The scope of work comprises EPC for new facilities and integration with existing
installations, it said.
LTHE, which is currently executing several domestic and international offshore projects, said it is committed to building its regional presence in geographies that it operates by growing local skills and talent, improving procurement from local vendors, engaging commercially with local contractors on the foundation of a sustainable workload.
Organized under Offshore, Onshore, Construction Services, Modular Fabrication and Advanced Value Engineering a Technology (AdVENT) verticals, LTHE offers integrated design-to-build solutions across the hydrocarbon sector to domestic and international customers.
