Kushwaha playing into BJP's hands: Nitish

Patna, Feb 6 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said that senior JD(U) leader Upendra Kushwaha was making statements for the last few weeks on being "instigated" by the BJP.
Kumar during "Samadhan Yatra" told media persons in Banka that he had given lot of respect to Kushwaha every time when he joined JD(U). He was made leader of JD(U) in Bihar Assembly but later deserted the party, he recalled.
"When Kushwaha returned to JD(U) for second time, he was sent to Rajya Sabha by the party but again he walked away", the Chief Minister said adding that Kushwaha returned to JD(U) for the third time in 2021 and promised to continue in party at any cost. It was strange that Kushwaha started talking absurd things about the party for the last two months, he noted.
