Kumaraswamy holds govt responsible for death of a bus driver in stone pelting

Bengaluru, Apr 17(UNI) Former Karnataka chief minister and JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy today said that the state government should immediately arrest the persons who pelted stones at a bus in which the driver died at Jamkhandi in Bagalkot district.
In a tweet, he believed that the transport employees might have not done this incident and some miscreants have done, the agitation should not have violence turn and justice is important in the agitation not egos, he said.
He said that a 59-year-old driver Rasool Avati died. He resumed duty on the assurance of the government to provide for safety. Hence, the state government should provide suitable compensation as per the KSRTC rules. Those who are guilty in the incident should be punished.
