KSTDC eyes Rs 100 cr turnover in 2022-23

Hyderabad, August 10 (UNI) With an aim to enhance domestic footfalls from Telangana, Government of Karnataka along with Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (KSTDCL) organized a roadshow here on Wednesday.
The corporation has gained Rs 9 crores profit this year and it is trying to ensure 100 percent tourism occupancy this year and it has almost reached 50 per cent occupancy so far, said Jungle Lodges and Resorts (JLR) Managing Director Manojkumar while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the roadshow.
"Though we have lost during the pre-covid, the corporation has not removed any existing staff but we consumed Rs 1 crore from the corpus fund available to continue the staff, he said that we expected to cross Rs 100 turnover this year" he added.
