KPMG in India, Qualys ink pact to offer managed security service

Mumbai, Jan 10 (UNI) KPMG in India on Monday said it has entered into a strategic alliance with cloud-based IT and security services provider Qualys to bring the latter’s solutions to its managed security offerings.
The alliance will bring together KPMG in India’s industry-leading and globally recognised cybersecurity services along with Qualys’ world-class cybersecurity innovations that enable enterprises to protect their network, applications, endpoints, and cloud workloads from security vulnerabilities, provide visibility and ensure compliance, it said in a release issued here.
“This partnership is aligned to our core values whereby we believe in empowering all our clients to manage cyber risk effectively by having state-of-the-art vulnerability management services along with a secure broad- ranging digital journey. By partnering with Qualys, we are not only ensuring that our customers have current and latest technology solutions but are also enabling them to create a digitally trusted environment,” KPMG in India Leader – Cyber security Atul Gupta said.
The Qualys Cloud Platform scales on-demand, and seamlessly integrates with KPMG in India’s managed security offerings. Integrations include Qualys VMDR, which brings together discovery, assessment, detection and response into a single cloud-based app — significantly accelerating the ability of organisations to respond to threats, and effectively prevent breaches.
In addition to VMDR, KPMG in India customers will now have access to Qualys Cloud and Container Security apps for continuous inventory of resources and assets across their global hybrid IT environment.
