KPCC chief to be finalised soon: Senior INC leader

KPCC chief to be finalised soon: Senior INC leader

Mysuru, Jan 24(UNI) Senior Indian National Congress leader Dinesh Gundu Rao said on Friday said that appointment of KPCC chief and vice president would be finalised within a week.

Speaking to the media here he further said the decision would be taken by party high command which would be acceptable to all.

He stated that the Cabinet expansion was not to give a ministry to someone but to make sure that government projects reach the public properly. It is the question of development and not strengthening of any party.

A cabinet that responds to requirements of the public should be formed, he further stated.

He refused to react to former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy's statements over Mangaluru airport bomb case, who claimed it 'a big drama'.

The Congress leader also demanded a probe into the attack on the MLA hairs.

He hit out at Deputy CM Ashwath Narayna who had held the previous government responsible for the law and order problem in the state and alleged that he on the contrary was trying to disrupt the harmony in the society.
