Kotak Mahindra Bank partners with NPCI to launch credit cards on Rupay

Hyderabad, Oct 28 (UNI) Kotak Mahindra Bank (KMBL) and the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on Thursday announced that they have joined hands to launch Kotak credit cards on the RuPay platform.
In February 2003, Kotak Mahindra Finance Ltd. (KMFL), the Group's flagship company, received banking license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), becoming the first non-banking finance company in India to convert into a bank - Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.
In India’s 75th year of Independence, the first credit card to be introduced by KMBL on the RuPay network is the ‘Veer’ credit card, exclusively for the Armed Forces.

Flipkart delivery boy among three drug peddlers held in Hyderabad
