"There is no question of any joint probe ... Our investigation is a continuous process and we are doing it," a senior Kolkata Police official today said. The IAF sent a letter to the Commissioner of Kolkata Police on January 27, seeking permission to commence a parallel probe into the incident with the Kolkata Police.
