Kolkata-based C-DAC secures winners in Agri AI Grand Challenge

Hyderabad, Jul 10 (UNI) The Telangana AI Mission (T-AIM), an initiative by the Government of Telangana, powered by NASSCOM, on Saturday announced RMSI Cropalytics and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) Kolkata as the winners of the first edition of the Agri AI Grand Challenge.
Five organizations were chosen as finalists from nearly 50 submissions comprising startups, academia, and companies, T-AIM said in a release here.
The award ceremony was attended by Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary (I&C and IT), Government of Telangana, Dr. Praveen Rao Velchala, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), and Ms. Rama Devi Lanka, Director-Emerging Technologies Wing and Officer on Special Duty (ITE&C) Government of Telangana. The five finalists also participated in the event.

NCBC to report to President of India on irregularities of EFLU on OBC reservations
