Kolhapur youth astonished as PM Modi used his artwork during March 24 address

Kolhapur, Mar 26 (UNI) Just like fellow Indians, Vikas Dighe, owner of an advertising company here, was astonished on the night of March 24 when the PM Narendra Modi announced a 21-day lockdown for the nation to fight the COVID-19 battle.

However, the reason for astonishment varied for Mr Dighe as he witnessed the PM displaying a placard conceptualised by him.
During his televised address, the PM asserted on maintaining social distance and asked the countrymen to raise the awareness regarding the same.
Giving a visual touch to his words, the PM displayed a colourful placard in Hindi which imagined the word 'CORONA' as the abbreviated version of 'Koi Road par Na nikle'.
PM Modi likened the creativity and praised the creator for conveying the thought of social distancing in minimal words.
Talking to UNI, Mr Dighe, a commercial art graduate, said he felt elated as he never thought that his idea will be used by the PM himself.
On Wednesday, his company Ads Tomorrow Advertising sent the placard to the PM Office for officially acknowledging the ownership of the display.
In the past, a city youth Anant Khasbagdar won accolade by the Centre for designing the art work for cleanliness mission.
