Kolhapur Mayor, Dy Mayor resign as tenure ends

Kolhapur, Dec 12 (UNI) Kolhapur Mayor Hasina Faras (NCP) and her deputy Arjun Mane (Congress) resigned from their posts at the end of their term on Tuesday, as per the mutual understanding between the
two parties on both posts.
Ms Faras submitted her resignation letter to Kolhapur municipal commissioner in a general body meeting, while Mr Mane handed over his resignation letter to Ms Faras earlier in the day. Both Ms Farasand Mr Mane were elected to the respective posts on December 6 last year.
