Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Oct 19 2017 9:43PM Kohima Police seizes 100 Kgs of Ganja from Guwahati bound busKohima Oct 19 (UNI) The Kohima Police during a frisking of vehicle at the Phesama Check Gate yesterday, has recovered 100 Kgs of contraband Ganja from a Guwahati bound and arrested one person in this connection. According to a release issued by PRO of Kohima Police Atu Zumvu today said that the Kohima Police manning the Phesama Check Gate has intercepted one Guwahati bound passenger bus bearing Manipur registration number, during routine checking and recovered 100 kg of contraband Ganja concealed in a sack along with mosquito repellant coil from the possession of a passenger yesterday night at around 2023 hours. The passenger identified as a resident of Chaharia Village, under Batedroba Police Station of Nagaon district of Assam was taken into police custody for possession and transportation of the contraband. In this connection, a regular case was registered in Kohima South Police Station under the NDPS Act against the arrested accused person for conducting further investigation, the PRO informed.
