Kochi to host Global SME meet on enterprise security and MSME de-risking

Kochi, June 7 (UNI) Amid growing concerns over the impact of artificial intelligence, global economic uncertainties and geopolitical tensions, the Institute of Small Enterprises and Development (ISED) will host the ISED Global SME Day Meet in Kochi on June 24, focusing on the theme of "Enterprise Security" and the De-risking of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The event aims to address the increasing vulnerabilities faced by small businesses and entrepreneurs, particularly those at the grassroots level, whose livelihoods are often affected by market disruptions and policy uncertainties.
Announcing the event, P. M. Mathew, Senior Fellow and Director of ISED, said the current business environment demands a paradigm shift from enterprise promotion to enterprise de-risking.
