Srinagar, Sep 25 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Kissan Tehreek (KT) activists on Friday held a demonstration here against the alleged anti-farmers bill and electricity Act passed by the Centre in Parliament during the recent Monsoon session.
A spokesman for the KT said that as part of nationwide protests against anti-farmer bills and electricity act amendments, KT held protest rallies across Jammu and Kashmir.
While maintaining social distancing norms, members of the Tehreek, held demonstrations in Press Colony Srinagar to protest against the alleged anti-farmer approach of the BJP government. They said the bills were aimed to help the corporate agri-businesses at the cost of poor farmer’s hard work.
