New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) BJP MP and actress-turned-politician Kirron Kher on Wednesday congratulated her husband and noted actor Anupam Kher on his appointment as the new chairman of the government-run Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). "Congratulations my dear @AnupamPkher for becoming FTII Chairman! Know you will do a great job!," she said in a tweet. The 62-year-old Anupam Kher was on Wednesday appointed as new chairman of the Pune-based Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), replacing Gajendra Chauhan. For his part, Mr Kher in his missive in the micro blogging site wrote, "I feel deeply humbled & honoured to be apportioned as the Chairman of iconic #FTII. I will perform my duties to the best of my abilities". Mr Kher was earlier appointed as Chairman of the Film Censor Board by the Vajpayee government but was replaced in 2004 after UPA regime took over. UNI DEVN SHK 1846
