Kin urges Indian govt to build universities as tribute to Abdul Gaffar Khan

New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) Pained over the attacks on Badshah Khan University in Pakistan by militants, the great grand daughter of Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan Yasmeen Khan today urged the Indian government to build universities in Kolkata and Delhi in his name.
She said that would be a befitting tribute to the great son of the soil who toiled hard half of his life fighting for independence for the country from foreign rule.
Yasmeen was speaking at an opening of an exhibition to commemorate 125th birth anniversary of Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan at Nehru Museum and Library here in the capital.
