Kidney Care at Home launched at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) As part of World Kidney Day 2019 celebrations, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Wednesday launched ''Kidney Care at Home'' services.
Under this programme, Institute of Renal Sciences will provide various homecare services such as: ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, continuous holter monitoring, care of catheter, dressing, wound care and home sampling, a statement said.
There will be dedicated staff to look after home peritoneal dialysis (CAPD & APD) and this APD machine will have software for monitoring therapy by the nephrologist.
