Khelo India Youth Games 2022-23: Maha Kho-Kho team's double bang of victory

Pune, Jan 31 (UNI) The four-time title winners Maharashtra women's and men's kho kho teams continued their dominance with a double victory at the Khelo India Youth Games on Tuesday.
Both the Maharashtra teams have celebrated two consecutive victories in this tournament in the fifth season. Led by Janki Award winner Janhvi Pethe, national players Preeti Kale, Nisha Vaijal, Vrishali, Pratishka and Payal gave their best performances to lead the Maharashtra Women's team to a big win, said a press issued by District Information office Pune ( DIO) today.
Maharashtra Women's team beat hosts Madhya Pradesh by 1 innings and 12 runs. After that, under the leadership of Narendra, the Maharashtra men's team defeated the host Madhya Pradesh by 1 innings and 6 runs. Hence, the host Madhya Pradesh teams had to bear the shock of back-to-back defeats at home. Continuing their campaign, Maharashtra teams have secured two wins in the group.
