Khelo India: Maharashtra leads the medal tally; Tripura wins 4 gold

Guwahati, Jan 11 (UNI) The second day of the Khelo India Youth Games saw Maharasthra leading the medals tally followed by Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat while from North-Eastern states, Tripura was the surprise package winning four gold with Assam bagging only three medals.
The 2020 edition of Khelo India which got off to a colourful start here yesterday, saw under 21 age participants competing in different segments.
Twenty-year-old Ajeet Kumar Yadav led Gujarat’s charge on Day 1 of the athletics events, defending his Under-21 5,000m crown in the Khelo India Youth Games here on an action-packed day.
