Khattar seeks Gadkari's intervention in resolving SYL canal issue

Chandigarh, Jul 14 (UNI) Expressing gratitude to Union Road Transport, Highways and MSMEs Minister Nitin Gadkari for dedicating various Highway projects as part of a new economic corridor worth Rs 20,027 crore in the state, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has also sought his intervention in resolving the long-pending Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) Canal issue with Punjab so that Haryana could get its legitimate share of river water.
The Chief Minister was speaking after Mr Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 11 highway projects through a web based function, here on Tuesday.
He urged Mr Gadkari to intervene and raise the SYL issue before the Centre Government for early resolution of this long pending issue in the interest of Haryana.
