Khattar pitches for green, eco-friendly, energy efficent & earthquake resistant buildings

Chandigarh, Sep 13 (UNI) Pitching for green, eco-friendly, energy efficient and earthquake resistant buildings, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday called for adopting ultra-modern technologies like prefab structures, rainwater harvesting, green roof top, solar energy to create such infrastructure in the country.
The Chief Minister was addressing the delegates after inaugurating two-day ‘6th All India Police Housing Conference’ being organized by Haryana Police Housing Corporation (HPHC) in association with Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), New Delhi in Panchkula.
Addressing the delegates, Mr Khattar said, "land is limited thus we also need to go towards the concept of high rise buildings to provide modern low cost quality infrastructure to all including police personnel." He said the eminence deliberations on various technical and other aspects in today’s conference would go a long way relating to create such infrastructure in the country.
