Khattar inaugurates world-class Keystone knowledge Park in Gurgaon

New Delhi, Jul 24 (UNI) A world-class Science and Technology R&D hub, the Keystone Knowledge Park (KKP), offering state of the art infrastructure and facilities was inaugurated today by the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
The Knowledge Park project is a flagship and ambitious project set up by the renowned Mayar Group and is located at Gurugram, Sohna road in the heart of Haryana State.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that the state government had formulated a new scheme under which educated youth would be given employment for three years at the rate of Rs 9000 per100 hours of employment.
He said this scheme called the Saksham Yuva Quota was formulated keeping in mind the high unemployment rate and with a bid to encourage and absorb those who were employable and hard working.
Mr Khatter said that Haryana had jumped to number 6 position in the country as far as industrial growth index goes and was slated to reach number one position very soon with the new policies his government was formulating.
Mr Khattar said that his government had offered single window clearance for all projects and there was no red tapism in clearance and no bureaucratic hurdles.
He said that in case the project could not be granted clearance within 30 days of submission of the project, the project would be deemed cleared. This was already encouraging many entrepreneurs to set up their industries in Haryana, he claimed.
Wishing the new knowledge park success, Mr Khattar said that Haryana was indeed lucky that the project had been set up as part of a vision of the former BJP Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.
He explained that investors in KKP should be happy as KKP is a fully-developed Knowledge Park equipped with ready to move in 2,25,000 sq ft area in a scientific building designed for R&D and also offers Industrial plots for manufacturing.
It is a part of an integrated ecosystem spread over 170 acres for promoting R&D and manufacturing activities in multi-disciplinary areas such as aerospace, defence, Pharma, agriculture, electronics and has the unique distinction of being the first of its kind facility in entire North India in the private sector.
On the occasion, Chairman of the Mayar group, AK Sud, said that being a part of the special economic zone (SEZ), KKP enjoys various tax concessions and incentives provided by the central and state government for companies interested in R&D and manufacturing .
