Khattar greets people on occasion of Sant Kabir Dass Jayanti

Chandigarh, June 4 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has greeted the people on the occasion of Sant Kabir Dass Jayanti. He said that Sant Shiromani Kabir ji did not belong to any particular caste or community but is looked upon as a guide for the entire humanity. His sayings and teachings are relevant to this day, he added.
In a message issued here today on the eve of Sant Kabir Dass Jayanti, the Chief Minister said that Sant Shiromani Kabir is the only poet of Bhaktikal who devoted his entire life to social reforms and the welfare of society.
The Chief Minister said that in order to make today's young generation aware of the ideals and teachings of great personalities like Sant Kabir Das, Sant Ravidas and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, the Haryana Government has taken a unique initiative to officially celebrate the birth anniversaries of such great personalities and has set an example for the entire nation by doing so.
