Khattar directs to reconstitute vigilance committees from depot to state level to monitor PDS

Chandigarh, Jun 29 (UNI) With a view to ensure maximum participation of people in monitoring Public Distribution System (PDS), Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today directed the officers concerned to reconstitute all vigilance committees from depot to state level in the state.
Mr Khattar issued directions while presiding over a review meeting of Food and Supplies department here.
These committees have been constituted at various levels that is depot, sub division, district and state level with an aim to monitor the distribution of essential commodities that are being distributed through the PDS.
