Khattar asks industries to train workforce according to their needs & employ them

Chandigarh, Jul 19 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday asked industries to train the workforce according to their needs and employ them in their units as this will help in providing employment to the unemployed youth of the state.
Interacting with the Industries Partners of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU) at Gurugram, Mr Khattar said that providing employment is a regular process and on an average about two lakh youth add every year who demand jobs. The government can provide 40,000 to 50,000 jobs in a year, so other rest of the job seekers are to be adjusted in industries.
He said that the state government has opened SVSU, which is first of its kind in the country, which help in upgrading the skills of the youth here. Now it is providing skill upgradation training in 31 courses. He said that usually it is said that though the youth in Haryana is educated but they are not skilled as per the requirement of the industry. So, the industries should come forward in providing them training as per their requirement and absorb them.
